You’ll need:

8-10 skeins of Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn" in Ivory color;

Crochet hook 7 mm;

Scissors.

Used Patterns

Front Post Double Crochet (Fpdc): YO, insert hook behind post of stitch (insert hook from front to back of stitch), YO, pull up a loop, YO, (pull through 2 loops) twice.

Back Post Double Crochet (Bpdc): YO, insert hook behind post of stitch (insert hook from back to front of stitch), YO, pull up a loop, YO, (pull through 2 loops) twice.

Front Post Treble Crochet (Fptc): Yarn Over (YO) twice, insert hook from front to back around post of stitch indicated. YO and pull up a loop, [YO and draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times.

Back Post Treble Crochet (Bptc):Yarn Over (YO) twice, insert hook from back to front around post of stitch indicated. YO and pull up a loop, [YO and draw through 2 loops on hook] 3 times.

Instructions

*After each round, you will turn and chain 3. Every beginning chain 3 counts as the row's first dc*

Chain 99

R1: dc in 4th chain from hook and in every chain across (97 dcs in total), turn

R2: ch 3 (counts as first dc here on out), Bpdc in next st, Fpdc in next, Bpdc in next, *repeat until last st*, dc in top ch 3. turn

R3: ch 3, Fpdc in next st, Bpdc in next, Fpdc in next, *rep until last st*, dc in top of ch 3. turn

R4:5: rep rows 2-3

R6: ch 3, dc in each st across until last three sts, sk next st, dc in last 2 sts (including in top of ch 3). turn

R7: ch 3, dc in next 2 sts, *skip 3 dcs, fptc around next 3 dcs, fptc around skipped sts, dc in next 3 sts, sk 1 st, fptc around next dc, fptc around skipped st, dc in next 3 sts* rep from * 6 times, dc in last 3 sts. turn

R8: ch 3, dc in next 2 sts, *bptc around next 6 sts, dc in next 3 sts, bptc around next 2 sts, dc in next 3 sts* rep from * 6 times, dc in last 3 sts. (first set of cables finished!) turn

R9-57: rep rows 7-8 until you reach desired length!

R58: ch 3, dc in each st across until last two sts, dc 2 in next st, dc in last st. turn

R59: ch 3, fpdc in next st, bpdc in next, fpdc in next *rep until last st*, dc in top of ch 3. turn

R60: ch 3, bpdc in next st, fpdc in next, bpdc in next *rep until last st*, dc in top of ch 3. turn

R61-62: rep rows 59-60.

Fasten off & weave in ends.

Fringe (optional)

Holding 6 stands of yarn together, each 16' long, add fringe across short of blanket.
