How to Crochet a Plush Toy

You’ll Need

Odds of white and purple yarn;

Crochet hook 2.5;

Safety eyes and nose.

Length

20 cm.

Stitches Control

28 sts х 32 rows = 10 х 10 cm.

Instructions

Body

Make 5 chain sts with white yarn and circle them in the ring with the help of slip st.

1^st row: 2 single crochets in every st = 10 sts;

2^nd row: 2 single crochets in every 2^nd crochet of the previous row = 15 sts;

3^rd row: 2 single crochets in every 3^rd crochet of the previous row = 20 sts;

4^th row: 2 single crochets in every 4^th crochet of the previous row = 25 sts;

5^th row: 2 single crochets in every 5^th crochet of the previous row = 30 sts.

Head and Fastening

Make in the same way as the body, but 1 row fewer.

Connect the body with the head with 5 crochets in the process of the last row of the head.

Turn to purple yarn, make 5 chain sts, fasten the body and head around with single crochets from the middle of the bottom part, leaving 4 unfinished crochets. Don’t forget to crochet 2 single crochets in the same places as in the previous row.

Finish the row with 10 chain sts, make 5 of them in the 5 chain sts, then, picot, repeat it twice, making the back leg, then fasten the body with single crochets, at the same time, make the front legs in the same way as the back. Finish the row after making the second back leg.

Tail

Use purple yarn. Attach it to the crown, make 25 chain sts, then fasten it with a row of single crochets, making 2 single crochets in the first 9 chain sts, 1 single crochet from the rest sts, cut the yarn.

Ears

Make with white yarn, starting with 6 single crochets, decrease their quantity step by step to 1 single crochet, cut the yarn.

Embroider whiskers with contrast yarn, glue the nose and eyes.
