The quantity of sts is multipled 6 + 2 selvedge sts + 1 st.

1^st row (WS): knit sts;

2^nd row (RS): 1 knit st, * 5 knit sts, every st with 3 yarn overs, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *;

3^rd row: 1 knit st, * transfer 5 sts to the auxiliary needle, slip the yarn overs, twist with work yarn twice and transfer to the right-hand needle without knitting, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to *;

4^th row: knit sts;

5^th row: purls;
