Double pointed knitting needles 2.5.

Size of the Sole

4 x 5 cm.

Stitches Control

In 2 threads yarn: 18 sts x 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Height of the bootie: 4 cm (12 rows);

Paw circumference along the upper edge of the bootie: 12 cm (36 sts);

Instructions

Sole

Cast on 7 sts with 2 threads yarn.

1st and 2nd rows: stockinette stitch;

16th row: 1 selvedge st, knit2tog, 3 knit sts, knit2tog, 1 selvedge st. Totally, 7 sts.

17th row: bind off all the sts.

Boot Top

Cast on the sts in 1 thread yarn on 4 knitting needles.

1st needle (heel): 6 sts, 2nd needle (side) – 8 sts, 3rd needle (toe) – 6 sts, 4th needle (side) – 8 sts.

1st row: stockinette stitch;

2nd row: increase 3 sts for heel and toe, and 4 sts for each side;

3rd-6th rows: 1 x 1 rib. This is the height of sock.

Turn to the front part of the booties. Knit 6 rows on the 3rd knitting needles – the distance from toe to boot top. Knit the last st of every row, catching the 1st st from the knitting needle of the side part.

Now, make boot top on 4 knitting needles – 9 sts on each needle. You can knit with 1 x 1 rib or stockinette stitch.
