Knitting Project with 100% Acryl Yarn
You’ll Need:
230g of 100% acryl yarn of green color;
Odds of red, carroty, yellow, light-green yarn;
Knitting needles 5;
Tapestry needle;
Cordon – 210 cm.
Used Patterns
Stockinette stitch: in right-side rows – knit sts, in wrong-side rows – purls;
Garter stitch: all knit sts;
Crossings – due to the scheme 1;
Basketry: due to the scheme 2.
Stitches Control
21 sts x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 56 sts with 3 threads of green yarn and knit 8 cm with stockinette stitch. Then, make 4 rows of garter stitch. Increase 20 sts in the last row. You should get 76 sts. Continue work due to the following description: 1 selvedge st, 20 sts due to the scheme 1, 34 sts due to the scheme 2, 20 sts due to the scheme 1, 1 selvedge st. After knitting 22 cm of pattern, turn to garter stitch. Increase 20 sts in the 1st row. There are 56 sts left. After making 8 rows, bind off the sts.
Make the second half in the same way.
Assembly
Embroider flowers on the front part and make knots in the center of several flowers. Also, make knots in the center of rhombs – see the photo. Sew the edges and bottom. Make handles by means of cordon, folded in half.
