Crafting a Stunning Knitted Blanket: Instructions and Patterns

You’ll Need:

1360g of yarn (82% acryl, 10% wool, 8% viscose; 97m/170g);

Circle knitting needles 8 (75 cm long).

117 x 137 cm.

Double Broaching

Slip 1 knit stitch, knit 2 together, throw the slipped stitch on the knit stitch.

Decrease with Left Decline

Slip 2 stitches to the right-hand needle, leave unfinished.

Pearled Pattern

1^st row: 1 knit stitch, 1 purl;

2^nd row: purls above knit stitches, knit stitches above purls.

Relief Pattern:

1^st row: 1 knit stitch, *1 yarn over, decrease with left decline, 7 knit stitches, knit 2 together, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

2^nd and all wrong-side rows: purls;

3^rd row: 1 knit stitch, *1 yarn over, decrease with left decline, 5 knit stitches, knit 2 together, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

5^th row: 1 knit stitch, * (1 yarn over, decrease with left decline) x twice, 3 knit stitches, (knit 2 together) x twice, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

7^th row: 1 knit stitch, *1 knit stitch, (1 yarn over, decrease with left decline) x twice, 1 knit stitch, (knit 2 together, 1 yarn over) x twice, 2 knit stitches*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

9^th row: 1 knit stitch, * (1 yarn over, decrease with left decline) x twice, double broaching, 1 yarn over, (knit 2 together, 1 yarn over) twice, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

11^th row: 1 knit stitch, *3 knit stitches, knit 2 together, 1 yarn over, 1 knit stitch, 1 yarn over, decrease with left decline, 4 knit stitches*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

13^th row: 1 knit stitch, *knit 2 together, 1 yarn over, 3 knit stitches, 1 yarn over, decrease with left decline, 3 knit stitches*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

15^th row: 1 knit stitch, *1 knit stitch, (knit 2 together, 1 yarn over) x twice, 1 knit stitch, (1 yarn over, decrease with left decline) x twice, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

17^th row: 1 knit stitch, *(knit 2 together, 1 yarn over) x twice, 3 knit stitches, (1 yarn over, decrease with left decline) x twice, 1 knit stitch*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

19^th row: knit 2 together, 1 yarn over, *(knit 2 together, 1 yarn over) x twice, 1 knit stitch, (1 yarn over, decrease with left decline) x twice, 1 yarn over, double broaching, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to * on all the stitches;

20^th row: purl.

Vertical pattern repeat – 1^st to 20^th rows.

Stitches Control:

8 stitches x 13 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Cast on 95 stitches and make 6 rows with the pearled pattern. Then, make 5 stitches of pearled pattern from the sides, making the central part with the relief pattern. Repeat the relief pattern 8 times. Finish work with 6 rows of the pearled pattern. Bind off the stitches.
