2nd row: 4 chain stitches, 3 treble crochets together, (arch of 9 chain stitches, 4 treble crochets together) x 7 times, 5 chain stitches, 1 treble crochet in the 1st stitch of the row;
3rd row (only for the 1st motif!): 15 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the arch, (9 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the arch, 15 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the arch) x 3 times, 9 chain stitches, connect with the 1st stitch of the row;
3rd row (for the rest of the motifs): 7 chain stitches, slip stitch in the long arch of another motif, 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the arch, (4 chain stitches, slip stitch in the short arch of another piece, 4 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the arch, 7 chain stitches, slip stitch in the long arch of another motif, 7 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the arch) x 3 times, 4 chain stitches, slip stitch in the short arch of another piece, 4 chain stitches, slip stitch in the 1st stitch of the row.
Assembly
You need to make 42 such pieces, connecting them between one another. Then, fasten your work:
1st row: * 1 single crochet in the arch of the motif, (15 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the next arch of the motif, 15 chain stitches) - corner, (1 single crochet in the next arch of the motif, 9 chain stitches) - repeat to the next corner, repeat from *, slip stitch in the 1st single crochet of the row, turn;
2nd row: 5 slip stitches (put the yarn in the center of the arch), * (1 single crochet in the next arch, 9 chain stitches) - repeat to the next corner, (17 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the next arch, 17 chain stitches, 1 single crochet in the next arch, 17 chain stitches) - corner, repeat from *, slip stitch in the 1st single crochet of the row. Fasten neck-hole with 1 row of single crochets. Make tassels if you wish.
