You'll Need:

About 150g of different colors of yarn that you like.

Knitting needles (size 3).

A needle.

Threads.

Instructions:

The quantity of stitches required is 96 stitches + 2 selvedge stitches.

Start by casting on the stitches with one color of yarn. When you begin your first row, you can incorporate other colors.

When using the intarsia technique, six balls of yarn are worked at the same time, with two colors crossed from the wrong side.

Row Instructions:

  • 1st Row: Knit.

  • 2nd Row and all even rows: Follow the ornament pattern.

  • 3rd Row: Transfer 3 stitches to the auxiliary needle in front of the work, knit 3 stitches, and then make the 3rd stitch from the auxiliary needle as a knit stitch.

  • 5th Row: Knit.

  • 7th Row: Transfer 3 stitches to the auxiliary needle behind the work, knit 3 stitches, and then make the 3 stitches from the auxiliary needle as knit stitches.

In this tutorial, we will use two cables of eggplant color, two violet cables, two yellow cables, and one cable of three shades of grey color. Between cables of the same color, leave 1 purl stitch, and between different colored cables, leave 2 purl stitches (1 purl of one color, followed by 1 purl of the other color).

Continue knitting until you reach a length of 45 cm. You can choose to work the wrong side as the right side or utilize the stockinette stitch.
