How to Create a Beautiful Crochet Hood Tutorial with Fancy Yarn

You'll Need:

300g of fancy yarn (60% mohair, 40% acryl, 550m/100g);

Crochet hook size 3.

Instructions

To make this pattern, you'll need to crochet both sides of the hood separately and then connect them. Start by making the left part. Make 39 chain stitches plus 3 stitches for the increase. Then, crochet the ornament according to the scheme.

Your work will begin to widen after 70 rows of crocheting. For this, make 1 pattern repeat from the right side behind every 10 rows. Crochet straight for 20 rows and then finish. The right part is made as a reflection of the left.

Assembly

Make the hood seam. Attach the ornament along the setup edge of the left part according to the scheme. Continue working by decreasing 1/3 of the pattern repeat in every second row. Form the right part in analogy to the left.
