Materials Needed

You'll need:

• Any cotton yarn;
• Crochet hook (it's size depends on the chosen yarn);
• Hair scrunch;
• Glossy thin thread.

Instructions

RND 1: Fasten the yarn on the scrunch and crochet it with single crochets, but pay attention that the quantity of stitches should be multiplied by 10 for the symmetry of the ornament.

RND 2: 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in the 1st single crochet, 7 chain stitches, * single crochet through 3 stitches of the base and again in the 4th stitch *; repeat from * to * to the end of the row. Finish the row with a single crochet and a slip stitch through the 1st single crochet.

RND 3: 1 chain stitch, 1 single crochet in the single crochet of the previous row, 1 chain stitch, 3 double crochets in the arch, 1 chain stitch, 3 double crochets, 3 chain stitches, 3 double crochets, 1 chain stitch. Then, 1 single crochet in the next arch, 1 chain stitch, and repeat the pattern with double crochets. Finish the row with 1 chain stitch from the ornament, 1 double crochet, and 1 slip stitch in the single crochet.

RND 4: Attach thin gold thread. Make with 2 threads 3 chain stitches, 2 double crochets in the 1st chain stitch of the ornament with double crochets, 4 double crochets in the next chain stitch, 8 double crochets in 3 chain stitches, 4 double crochets in the next chain stitch, 2 double crochets in the chain stitch from both sides of the single crochet of the previous row, 4 double crochets - 8 double crochets - 4 double crochets and again 2 double crochets - 2 double crochets to the end of the row.
