​Crochet Hair Scrunch

You'll need:

Any cotton yarn;

Crochet hook (it's size depends on the chosen yarn);

Hair scrunch;

Glossy thin thread.

Instructions

1st row: fasten the yarn on the scrunch and crochet it with single crochets, but pay attention, that the quantity of sts should be multipled 10 for symmetry of ornament.

2nd row: 1 chain st, 1 single crochet in the 1st single crochet, 7 chain sts, * sinlge crochet through 3 sts of base and again in the 4th st*; repeat from * to * to end of row. Finish the row with single crochet and slip st through 1st single crochet.

3rd row: 1 chain st, 1 single crochet in the single crochet of the previous row, 1 chain st, 3 double crochets in the arch, 1 chain st, 3 double crochets, 3 chain sts, 3 double crochets, 1 chain st. Then, 1 single crochet in the next arch, 1 chain st and repeat the pattern with double crochets. Finish the row with 1 chain st from the ornament, 1 double crochet, 1 slip st in the sinlge crochet.

4th row: attacg thin gold thread. Make with 2 threads 3 chain sts, 2 double crochets in the 1st chain st of ornament with double crochets, 4 double crochets in the next chain st, 8 double crochets in 3 chain sts, 4 double crochet in the next chain st, 2 double crochets in the chain st from both sides of single crochet of the previous row, 4 double crochets - 8 double crochets - 4 double crochets and again 2 double crochets - 2 double crochets to the end of row. Finish the row with slip st in the 3rd chain st increase. Fasten the threads and hide them.
