Shell Stitch Knitting Instructions

Shell Stitch Technique
To perform the shell stitch, insert the right-hand needle into the front of the stitch 5 rows below the 3rd stitch on the left-hand needle. Draw through a long loop, leaving the loop on the right-hand needle. Proceed with the following steps:
- Knit 1.
- Make a second loop into the same stitch, then knit 1.
- Make a third loop into the same stitch, then knit 1.
- Make a fourth loop into the same stitch, then knit 1.
- Make a fifth loop into the same stitch, then knit 1.
- Make a sixth loop into the same stitch.

With colour A, cast on a multiple of 14 stitches plus 2 additional stitches and knit one row to start.

With colour A, k2, *shell stitch, k9; repeat from * to end.

With colour A, k1, *k7, (p2tog-b) 3 times, p1, (p2tog) 3 times; repeat from * to last stitch, k1.
