How to Crochet a Stunning Shawl

You'll Need:
500 g of thin wool yarn;
Hook 2.
Instructions
Start crocheting your shawl using the scheme A. Crochet all the rows, united in 3 groups. Then crochet rows according to the scheme B and the first 3 rows of the 4th group. Continue crocheting 10 rows in the 4th group. After that, crochet 15 rows following the pattern of the 2nd group (with a larger quantity of patterns).
Next, crochet "pineapple" on each waver (3rd group). Then repeat the rows one more time with additional patterns. Finish with 3 rows of single crochets. Lastly, crochet the upper part of your shawl with single crochets.

Yes, I'm the same. I can only crochet from written patterns. And there are beautiful things here I'd love to make.

There are instructions on how to follow a crochet diagram, it makes sense if I go slowly. I also have to remember I turn what I’m crocheting at the end of each row but I don’t turn the diagram, it’s made to go to the next row when I finish one. They’re a little bit of a challenge but with time we can learn to read them. I’m 66 years old, I’d much rather follow a written pattern but things are changing. If I find a new blanket or shawl I want to make it’s up to me to learn to read diagrams. Thank you for letting me give my opinion, good luck to all crochets who are trying to keep up with the changes.

Jackie, thank you for your opinion! I'll do my best to find the more detailed written patterns.
