Start of Feathers

Round 6

Ch3, dc in same st. (Dc in next 4 sts, 2 dc in next st) 7 times. Dc in next 4 sts, leave remaining sts unworked. (48 dc)

Round 7

Ch1, sc in the next 8 sts of round 5, *ch5, 2 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, slst in next 3 chs*, sc in next 5 sts, repeat *to* once. Sc in next 7 sts. Ch1, sc in next dc of round 6 (mark st), sc in next 47 sts, join in next ch1 space, fasten off.

Row 8

Eyes

Make 2: With black yarn: 10 sc in a magic circle, join to first sc. Sew onto turkey.

Beak

Ch5: sc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next ch, 2 dc in last ch, fasten off, and sew onto turkey.

Wattle
