Materials Required

YARN:

Samet Soft - 100g / 100 m / 100 % polyester, chenille

I really like the Velvet Soft yarn; they are pleasant and cozy, wonderful to work with, and the crocheted products are amazingly soft.

Here are some tutorials made with this yarn:

  • Panda: 100 g / 66 m / 100 % polyester, shaggy furry
  • Luxurious, incredibly soft yarn faithfully imitating fur. It is ideal for use on knitted scarves, shawls, hats, or decorative edgings.

Color B - mottled light-dark gray

You will need 1 ball of this wonderful velvety yarn Samet Soft and half a ball of Panda yarn for women's size 39 booties.

Additionally, gather:

  • Scissors and tapestry needle
  • Crochet hook: 5.0 mm
  • Difficulty Level: Level 1 – Easy, for beginners

Pattern Notes for Crochet Cozy Furry Slipper Booties

  1. Before you start, take a measurement of the length of your leg from big toe to heel and a leg circumference (please see the final measurement of the slipper booties below).
  2. This pattern is for Medium Women's size, but you can easily adapt it to a smaller or bigger size.

Parts of the Slipper Booties

  1. From big toe to leg
  2. From leg to heel
  3. Border

Make the first part of the slipper (working in rounds) bigger or smaller just by reducing or increasing the number of stitches in rounds. Make the second part of the slipper (working in rows) bigger or smaller just by reducing or increasing the number of rows. Make the third part of slipper booties shorter or longer just by reducing or increasing the number of rows.

A ch1 at the beginning of the round DOESN'T count as a stitch throughout. The Slipper measures: 27 cm / 10.5 inch (length), 25 cm / 9.8 inch (width), 11 cm / 4.3 inch (leg hem). *Measurements are taken from the garment lying flat, before the yarn has stretched out/dropped.

The Slipper is worked in one piece, in spiral rounds, and then in rows, back and forth, from tip to heel.

Step-by-Step Written Pattern

Part 1

Work in spiral rounds
Color A
A ch1 at the beginning of the round does not count as a stitch.

Make a magic ring

  1. R1: ch1, 8 sc in magic ring (8 sc)
  2. R2: 2 sc in each st around (16 sc)
  3. R3: *1 sc in next st, 2 sc in next st* repeat from * to * till end of round (24 sc)
  4. R4: *1 sc in next 5 st, 2 sc in next st* repeat from * to * till end of round (28 sc)
  5. R5 - R19: 1 sc in each st around (28 sc)

This part measures: 18 cm / 7 inch (length) // 26 cm / 10 inch (circumference)

Part 2

Work in rows, turn your work when you finish the row
A ch1 at the beginning of the round does not count as a stitch.

Color A

  1. R20: ch1, 1 sc in next 18 st, sk last 10 st, turn (18 sc)
  2. R21 - R30: ch1, 1 sc in each st around, till end of row, turn (18 sc)

For Medium Women's size, I made 11 rows.

Let's Make the Heel

Join sides.

Fold your work in half and bring both ends together. Join the sides slip to slip by slip stitches.

Now that your slipper is assembled, hide all loose tails on the wrong side of your work and turn it right side facing you to make a border.

Part 3: Border

Lay the slipper out in front of you. Place the slipper with the right side up, right side facing you.

With yarn color B and hook, make a border around Part 2, ensuring the right side is up.

Remember not to make your stitches too tight and not too loose.

Start at the seam, re-join the new yarn.

  1. R1: ch1, work 1 sc evenly; when you reach the corner, join both corner stitches, then work 1 sc in the next 8 st, join the next 2 corner stitches together, and work sc evenly till end of row.
  2. I made 30 sc in total.
  3. R2 - R5: 1 sc in each st around
  4. Color C, Yarn PANDA
  5. R6 - R10: 1 sc in each st around

Now you will hide all loose tails on the wrong side of your work and turn it right side facing you, and you are all done, my friends.

You just created a beautiful pair of cozy furry slipper booties!
