Button Band:

Row 1: CH 11, turn, SC in second chain from hook, SC in each chain and in each brim stitch around, do not join. (76) The beginning chain will form the button tab.

Row 3 to Row 7: Repeat Row 2.

Row 8: CH 1, turn, SC in each stitch to end, CH 1, working up short side of tab: SC in end of each row, CH 1, SC in 10 stitches across top of tab. Fasten off.
