Materials:

4.0mm hook
#4 worsted weight yarn in color of choice
Tapestry needle for weaving ends

U.S. Stitch Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
St: stitch
Sl st: slip stitch
SC: single crochet
Inc: increase stitch
SC2tog: single crochet 2 together
Rep: repeat
Sk: skip
FO: fasten off

Directions:

Back piece:

1. Ch8. SC in 2nd ch from hook and across. Ch1 and turn. (7)
2. Inc, SC 5x, Inc. Ch1 and turn. (9)
3. Inc, SC 7x, Inc. Ch1 and turn. (11)
4. Inc, SC 9x, Inc. Ch1 and turn. (13)
5-9. SC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (13)
10. SC2tog, SC 9x, SC2tog. Ch1 and turn. (11)
11. SC2tog, SC 7x, SC2tog. Ch1 and turn. (9)
12. SC2tog, SC 5x, SC2tog. Ch1 and turn. (7)
13. Inc, SC 5x, Inc. Ch1 and turn. (9)
14-16. SC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (9)
17. SC2tog, SC 5x, SC2tog. Ch1 and turn. (7)

First Ear:

19. SC 3x. Ch1 and turn. (3)
20-22. SC in each st across. Ch1 and turn. (3)

25. SC. FO and weave ends.

Second Ear:

26.Sk 4th st of Row 18. Join yarn in 5th st with a Sl St. SC in same st and remaining 2 st. Ch1 and turn. (3)
Rep steps 20-25. FO and weave ends.

Front piece:

Complete rows 1-11 of the back piece. Lay evenly on top of the back piece. Starting in the corner, SC through both pieces evenly around. Sl st to first st. FO and weave ends.

Tail:

I wrapped white yarn around 3 of my fingers 20 times. I tied a center knot to secure, trimmed ends and attached to the front piece. (See pics for help with placement)
