Easy Crochet Top Pattern for Beginners

Make front and back as one-piece cloth without seams. Make a chain of the same length, as waist circumference + 3 cm for better fitting. Circle in the ring. Work with the main pattern for 25-26 circle rows. Change of row is in the middle of back. Then, work with straight and reversed rows from the center of front for 3 rows, don’t finish 1 pattern repeat in every row for forming “drop” neck-hole. Then, finish each side separately: make 7 pattern repeats, turn, make reversed row. Make 5 pattern repeats in the next row, turn, and make reversed rows. Continue work this way, decrease 1 pattern repeat in every 2^nd row from inwards. Inner edge is straight. Finish another side in symmetry. Fasten the upper edge of top with 2 rows of single crochets. Sew upper corners together, decorate with buttons.

For straps, twist 2 cords of 50 cm long, sew them in the place of corners connection.
