Crochet hook 7;
Double-pointed knitting needles 7.

Used Patterns
Arches Pattern
The quantity of sts is multiple of 7 + 2. Work according to the scheme, starting with 1 WS row.
Rib Pattern
2 x 2 rib.
Stitches Control:
20 sts x 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Note:
For the detail of the shrug, create a rectangular cloth, forming the back with marked halves of the front and a wide collar.
Instructions
Shrug
Make 114 (128) chain sts + 1 chain st increase and work with arches pattern = 14 (16) pattern repeats + initial and final sts. In 101 cm = 58 rows (108 cm = 62 rows) from the set-up row, finish your work. Fasten the set-up row with the 2nd row of arches pattern for the bent lower edge.
Cuffs
Make 44 (52) sts, divide them onto 4 double-pointed knitting needles and circle your work in a ring. Create 30.5 cm = 58 circle rows with rib, then bind off the sts as they face.
Assembly
Fold the detail of the shrug in half (= the last row upon the set-up row) and sew side seams on open lower edges to 39 (40) cm long, leaving the upper 11.5 (14) cm (fold in half) open for sewing up. Bind off the edges of the cuffs and sew them to the edges of the shrug.
