- 0.6″ safety or felt eyes

Close the body by passing the needle through the front loop of each of the stitches of the last round [12] and pull until closed.
Sew to close the small hole between the body and tail using the long tail of yarn from the tail.
Assembly and Details
The bill is placed above R 10, sewn around R 9, and the peak of the bill (the 2 hdcs) is sewn above R 8.
Place the eyes under R 7, leaving 5 stitches of space between them.
The wings are sewn between R 16-17. If you are making the version with the head facing forward, leave 8 stitches of space between them. If you are making the version with the head to one side, leave 15 stitches of space between them.
Mallard Duck
If you want to make the Mallard duck, use Key Lime for the head and in R 13-14 use white. Use Toffee for the body, wings, and tail, and use sunshine for the bill.
Pekin Duck
If you want to make the Pekin version, simply change the yellow for white and the tangerine for yellow.
