Gauge is not important for this project.

Pattern Stitch

Long single crochet (long sc): Working over stitches of previous rows, insert hook in space indicated on 2 rows below and draw up loop to level of working row; yarn over and draw through 2 loops on hook.

Instructions

Blossom Mat

With yellow, chain 5; join to form a ring.

Rnd 1 (RS): Chain 1, 8 single crochet in ring; join in first single crochet.

Rnd 2: Chain 1, in same single crochet work (single crochet, chain 3, single crochet); *5 double crochet in next single crochet; in next single crochet work (single crochet, chain 3, single crochet); repeat from * twice more; 5 double crochet in next single crochet; join in first single crochet. Fasten off.

Rnd 3: Join white in any chain-3 space; chain 1, single crochet in same space; *2 double crochet in each of next 2 double crochet; 3 double crochet in next double crochet; 2 double crochet in each of next 2 double crochet; single crochet in next chain-3 space; repeat from * 3 times more; join in first single crochet. Fasten off.

Rnd 2: Join cream in space between any 2 double crochet; chain 1, 2 single crochet in same space; chain 1; *2 single crochet in space between next 2 double crochet; chain 1; repeat from * 10 times more; join in first single crochet. Fasten off.

Rnd 3: Join blue in any chain-1 space; chain 1, 2 single crochet in same space; chain 1; *2 single crochet in next chain-1 space; chain 1; repeat from * 10 times more; join in first single crochet. Fasten off.

Rnd 4: With cream, repeat round 3.
