Pattern Instructions
To start, you can either:
- Row 1: Ch15, 2sc in the third chain from the hook, *sk 1 ch, 2 sc in next ch* across
- or
- Fsc 13
Row 2: Turn, ch2, sk 1st sc, 2sc in next st, *sk next st, 2 sc in next st* across.
Rows 3-33: Repeat row 2.
Note: You can increase or decrease the length by working more or fewer rows.
Row 34: Turn, ch1, sc in next 7 st’s, chain 10, sc in the same st as the first chain (this creates the loop for the button), sc in each st across.
Do not fasten off.
Border
You can leave it as it is, but I didn’t like the uneven edges that the ch2 made, so I continued working around the cozy. Without turning, sc evenly (1 sc in each row) along the longer side, the bottom, and up the second longer side. Make sure to put 2 sc in each corner.
FO and sew in ends.
Position and sew the button.
