Materials Needed

With H hook and main color

Crochet Pattern

Base Rows

Row 1: ch 28, dc in 3rd ch from hook and across, ch 2 turn.

Row 2 and 3: dc in each st across, ch 2 turn.

Row 4: dc in each st across, sl st to join. Now working in Rnds.

Rounds

Rnd 5: ch 2 (does not count as first st now and throughout) dc in each st around.

Rnd 6: Decrease row, ch 2 dc in same st, dc in next st, dc next 2 sts together,* dc in next st, dc next 2 sts tog, repeat around.

Rnd 7: ch 2, dc in same st, dc in next st, * dc next 2 sts tog, dc in next 3 sts, around.

Rnd 8: ch 2, dc in each st around.

Rnd 9: thumb increase, ch 2, 2 dc in same st, 2 dc in next st, dc in next st and in each st around.

Rnd 10 and 11: Repeat row 9.

Rnd 12 and 13: ch 2, dc in each st around.

Rnd 14: ch 2, dc in same st, dc in next st, ch 3, skip next 4 sts, dc in next st, and in each st around.

Rnd 15: ch 2, dc in each st and ch around.

Finishing Touches

Rnd 16 and 17: ch 2, dc in each st around.

Rnd 18: change to cc if desired, sc in each st around, fasten off.

Bottom of gauntlet: using cc sc evenly around.

I added a button to the top side of the v at the very bottom of the gauntlet to dress it up a bit. Have fun and Happy Hooking!
