Row 16: DEC 6, Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing, stuff with fiberfill, then weave tail through the remaining stitches and pull tight to close. Leave remaining tail for sewing.

Crown of Pineapple In Green

The crown is worked in a continuous piece and rolled together similar to a crochet rose.

*CH 6, SLST in second stitch from hook, SC in next stitch, HDC in next 3 stitches* Repeat from * to * until you have 5 points;

*CH 8, SLST in second stitch from hook, SC in next stitch, HDC in next 5 stitches* Repeat from * to * two times. You should have a total of eight points now.

*CH 10, SLST in second stitch from hook, SC in next stitch, HDC in next 7 stitches* Repeat from * to * three times. Finish off, leaving a 10” long tail for sewing. You should end with a total of eleven points.

Starting with the tallest points, roll the piece together at the flat end, keeping the base even. Using your tail, sew through the bottom flat ends until the piece stays together on its own. Sew the entire piece to the finishing end of your pineapple body using a whip stitch around the base. Bring the remaining tail through the middle of the crown and use it to sew to the keyring. Weave in ends and finish off.

Sunglasses In Grey

CH 9, SC in second chain from hook, SC 6, 2SC in last chain; you will now be working on the opposite side of your chain. CH 2, DC 3, CH 2, SLST to next two chains, CH 2, DC 3, CH 2, SLST to first SC. Finish off leaving a 10” long tail for sewing.

Place the sunglasses on the pineapple where you want; sew to the pineapple, you may need to shape the glasses to your desired shape while sewing on.
