Materials Needed

About 2oz of worsted weight cotton yarn, G hook

Directions

Ch 4, work 3 dc in 4th ch from hook.

Row 1

Ch 3, 1 dc in next st, ch 1, 1 dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, 2 dc in top of ch 3, ch 3 and turn.

Row 2

Dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, 1 dc in next st, ch 1, dc in next st, 2 dc in top of ch 3, ch 3 and turn.

Row 3

Dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, ch 1, dc in next 3 sts, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, ch 1, dc in next st, 2 dc in top of ch 3, ch 3 and turn.

Row 4

Dc in next 3 sts, ch 1, dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, dc in next 3 sts, ch 1, dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in top of ch 3, ch 3 and turn.

Row 5

Dc in next 4 sts, ch 1, dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, dc in next 3 sts, ch 1, dc in next 2 sts, ch 1, dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in top of ch 3, ch 3 and turn.

Continue Row 5: you will increase a stitch each time until you have 18 sts. (Example for the beginning of the row: dc in next 5 sts, next 6 sts, next 7 sts etc., example for end of row: dc in next 4 sts, next 5 sts, next 6 sts, etc.)

To finish off, sc evenly around the triangle working 2 sc in each point.

Ties

Attach yarn to a corner, ch 60 and sl st back or the chain. Fasten off. Repeat on the other side.
