Instructions

Work from the neck-hole.

Make 113 chain stitches with Fine Kid yarn and crochet hook 6 to create 11 motifs according to the scheme. At a height of 35 cm, finish your work. Tighten the first row of the neck-hole using crochet hook 3.5 mm to achieve a length of 45 cm.

Fasten the upper part of the cape as follows:

  • 1st, 3rd, and 5th rows with Victoria yarn: single crochets;
  • 2nd, 4th, and 6th rows with Fine Kid yarn: double crochets;
  • 7th row with Victoria yarn: *1 single crochet, skip 1 stitch, 6 double crochets in the next stitch, skip 1 stitch*; repeat from * to *.

Create a button-loop that is 3 chain stitches long in the 4th row of fastening.

Fasten the bottom of the cape in the same manner as the upper part but using Fine Kid yarn. For front plackets, make 1 row of slip stitches and 1 row of single crochets with Victoria yarn and crochet hook 3.5 mm. Finish with Fine Kid yarn in the same way as the 7th row of upper fastening.
