You’ll need:

350 (400)g of light-blue Binario yarn (50% cotton, 45% viscose, 5% polyamide; 100m/50g);

100g of blue Pep yarn (80% microfiber, 20% polyamide; 110m/50g);

Knitting needles 4,5;

Crochet hook 4.

Size: M (L).

Used Patterns

Stockinette stitch: in RS row – knit sts, in WS row – purls;

Wavy pattern (13 sts wide): due to the scheme 1, on which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with selvage st. Repeat 1st-14th rows.

Stripes order: 14 rows of light-blue wavy pattern, 6 rows of blue stockinette stitch.

Relief pattern (7 sts wide): due to the scheme 2. Start every circle row with 3 chain sts increase instead of the 1st double crochet and finish with slip st in chain st increase. Start with sts before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with sts after pattern repeat. Make 1st-5th rows x once.

Stitches control: wavy pattern: 20 sts x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm;

Relief pattern: 17 sts = 10 cm.

Instructions

Back/Front

Cast on 93 (106) sts with light-blue yarn and work due to the stripes order. In 45 cm from the set-up row, bind off 3 sts from both sides for arm-holes, 1 x 3 sts and 3 (4) x 2 sts in every 2nd row from both sides. In 52 cm, bind off the rest sts.

Yoke

Make 182 (203) chain sts with crochet hook and light-blue yarn, circle them in the ring with 1 slip st and work with relief pattern. Sew yoke to the front and back. Fasten the upper edge with 1 row of slip sts.

Assembly

Make side seams; fasten the arm-holes with 1 row of single crochets and 1 row of “shrimp stitch” with light-blue yarn.
