How to Knit a Lovely Sheep Blanket

Materials Needed
You'll need:
- 250g of 100% cotton yarn in yellow color (115m/50g);
- 100g of the same yarn in white color;
- 50g of the same yarn in black color;
- Knitting needles size 4.
Size
65 x 75 cm.
Used Patterns
Garter stitch: all knit stitches;
Stockinette stitch: in right-side rows - knit stitches, in wrong-side rows - purls.
Knit the sheep according to the scheme provided.
Stitch Control
Stitches control on stockinette stitch: 20 stitches = 10 cm.
Instructions
Cast on 144 stitches. Knit 3 cm with garter stitch and then switch to stockinette stitch, maintaining garter stitch on 5 edging stitches from both sides of the blanket. After completing 8 rows, begin the pattern.
Make the sheep according to the scheme using stockinette stitch. After knitting 5 rows of sheep, knit 8 rows of stockinette stitch without sheep. Then, add 3 rows of garter stitch. Finally, bind off the stitches.
