Create Your Own Adorable Honey Bee Soft Toy - Complete Guide and Tutorial

Buzz, buzz, buzz, the bees are here! It's the honey bee that is under our hooks today. As cute as it is beautiful, this piece comes with a tutorial to guide us do it right. The finished work can be a soft toy for kids, a companion for adults, a decor for the home or just about anything you want it to be, so get down to it and bring out the honey bee! Are you ready, friends? I’m sure you are!

Materials Needed

To create your honey bee, you'll need the following materials:

  • Size E (3.50mm) crochet hook
  • Worsted weight (4 ply) yarn
  • 7.5mm safety eyes
  • Polyfil (or your stuffing of choice)
  • Tapestry/yarn needle
  • Small amount of black embroidery floss (for mouth)
  • Stitch marker
