Complete Crochet Pullover Guide

You’ll Need:

500g of peachy (106) Lana Grossa Duo Paillettes yarn (54% polyamide, 19% alpaca wool, 19% mohair, 8% polyester; 110m/50g);

Crochet hook 5;

Circular knitting needles 5 (40 and 60 cm long).

Used Patterns

2 x 2 rib.

Relief pattern: due to the scheme. Make the 1^st group of double crochets in the 6^th chain st from the crochet hook.

Start every row with 2 chain sts instead of the 1^st half crochet and finish with 1 half crochet in the 2^nd chain st increase. Start with sts before the 1^st arrow, repeat the pattern between arrows, finish with sts after the 2^nd arrow. Starting from the 2^nd row, make single crochets and double crochets under chain sts of the previous row. Repeat 1^st-3^rd rows x once, then, repeat 2^nd-3^rd rows.

Stitches Control

2.5 pattern repeats x 7 rows = 9.5 x 10 cm.

Note

Make pullover without knitting placket as one-piece cloth.

Instructions

Starting the Left Sleeve

Start with the left sleeve. For this, make 82 chain sts + 2 chain sts increase with crochet hook 5 and work with relief pattern = 16 pattern repeats. In 40 cm = 28 rows from the set-up row, make 25 chain sts from the right side for back for 5 pattern repeats and make 25 chain sts from the left side for front for 5 pattern repeats. Then, work with relief pattern = 26 pattern repeats.

Creating the Neck-Hole

In 22 cm = 16 rows from the beginning of back and front, leave the central 2 pattern repeats open for neck-hole and finish both sides separately = 12 pattern repeats from both sides. In 20 cm = 14 rows from the beginning of neck-hole, make 10 chain sts and work with relief pattern on all sts = 26 pattern repeats.

Completing the Sleeves

In 22 cm = 16 rows from the end of neck-hole, leave 5 pattern repeats open from both sides for front and back and finish the right sleeve in the 2^nd row of the pattern in symmetry to the left sleeve, make 1 chain st between single crochets.

Finishing the Collar

Cast on 84 sts along neck-hole with circular knitting needles 5 40 cm long and work with rib for collar. At 26 cm height of collar, bind off sts. Cast on 94 sts with circular knitting needles 5 60 cm long and work with rib along the edges of arm-holes, start with 1 WS row and 1 purl after selvage st, finish with 1 purl before selvage st.

Edge Finishing

In 5 cm = 15 rows from the beginning of placket, bind off sts as they face. Cast on 42 sts along the lower edges of sleeves with circular knitting needles 5 60 cm long. For placket, work with straight and reversed rows of rib, start with 1 WS row and 1 purl after selvage st, finish with 1 purl before selvage st. At 4 cm = 13 rows height, bind off sts. Make sleeve and side seams.
