How to Make a Beautiful Crochet Bag

You’ll Need:

100g of blue 100% cotton yarn;

100g of the same yarn, but in turquoise color;

Crochet hook 3;

5 big buttons.

Instructions

Make 60 chain sts and work around the chain:

Row Instructions:

• 1^st row: single crochets, increase 5 single crochets from each side;
• 2^nd-7^th rows: double crochets.

After that, make 19^th-22^nd rows with double crochets using blue yarn. Then, for handles, make 50 single crochets from one side, turn, and make 10 rows of single crochets. Decrease the first and last 2 sts in every row until there are 10 sts left. Crochet straight for 20 cm. Make the same handles from the opposite side.

Fasten the edges of the handle with a “shrimp stitch”. Make a “wavy” fringe along the turquoise part of the bag. For this, join blue yarn at the base of the bag and make 5 chain sts. Join them with the help of single crochets to the base of the bag in the places marked on the scheme. Make 9 rows of this trim.

For the fastener, fasten 5 big buttons with single crochets and join them to the back side of your bag.
