200 (250)g of the same yarn, but in mint color;

Long and short circular knitting needles 4.

Size

S (M).

Used Patterns

Rib Pattern

Straight and reversed rows: the quantity of sts is odd. Start and finish every row with 1 selvage st.

RS row: 1 knit st, 1 purl, finish with 1 knit st; WS row: as sts face; circle rows: the quantity of sts is even, make * 1 knit st, 1 purl*.

Relief Zigzags Pattern

The quantity of sts is multiple of 10 + 1 + 2 selvage sts. Work due to the scheme, in which both RS and WS rows are stated. Start with 1 selvage st, pattern repeat, finish with st after pattern repeat and 1 selvage st. Repeat 1st-8th rows.

Stitches Control

18 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Cast on 83 (93) with mint yarn and make 6 cm of rib. Then, work with relief zigzags pattern. At the same time from rib, increase 6 x 1 st from both sides in every 4th row, 29 x 1 st in every 2nd row and 14 x 1 st in every row, then, cast on 2 x 3 sts, 1 x 5 sts in every 2nd row and include them in the pattern = 203 (213) sts. In 49 cm = 138 rows (52 cm = 146 rows) from rib, bind off 7 sts from both sides for shoulder chamfer and 7 x 7 sts (2 x 7 sts and 5 x 8 sts) in every 2nd row. At the same in 52 cm = 146 rows (55 cm = 154 rows) from rib, bind off the central 27 sts for neck-hole and finish both sides. For smooth rounding, bind off 3 x 2 sts in every 2nd row from inwards. In 55 cm = 154 rows (58 cm = 162 rows) from rib, bind off the rest 26 sts of shoulder from each side.

Front

Make in the same way as back, but for deeper neck-hole, bind off the central 17 sts in 40.5 cm = 114 rows (43.5 cm = 122 rows) and 1 x 3 sts, 1 x 2 sts and 6 x 1 st in every 2nd row.

Assembly

Make shoulder and upper sleeve seams. For placket, cast on 134 sts along neck-hole with mint yarn and circular knitting needles and make 1 circle row of purls, then, work with rib. At 3 cm height of placket, bind off sts as they face. For plackets, cast on 47 (59) sts along edges of sleeves with short circular knitting needles and mint yarn, make 1 WS row of knit sts and then, work with rib. At 7 cm height of placket, bind off sts. Make side and lower seams.
