Continue work with “front-back” rows, making 1 single crochet in every single crochet (make 1 chain s tint he beginning of every row before 1 single crochet in every single crochet). Continue work at 7-7-8 cm height in the following way:

1st row: 2 single crochets in the 1st single crochet in every of the next 8-10-10 single crochets, 2 single crochets in every single crochet, 1 chain st, skip the next single crochet, 2 single crochets and 1 single crochet in the next single crochet, 1 single crochet in every of the next 8-10-10 single crochets and 2 single crochets in the last single crochet, turn;

2nd row: 1 single crochet in every of the first 12-14-14 single crochets, 7 double crochets around chain st and 1 single crochet in every of the last 12-14-14 single crochets = 31-35-35 sts, turn;

3rd row: 2 single crochets in the 1st st, 1 single crochet in every of the next 13-15-15 sts, 2 single crochets in the next st, 1 chain st, skip the next st, 2 single crochets in the next st, 1 single crochet in every of the last 13-15-15 sts and 2 single crochets in the last st, turn;

4th row: 1 single crochet in every of the first 17-19-19 single crochets, 7 double crochets around chain st, 1 single crochet in every of the last 17-19-19 single crochets = 41-45-45 sts, turn;

5th row: 2 single crochets in the 1st st, 1 single crochet in every of the next 18-20-20 sts, 2 single crochets in the next st, 1 chain st, skip the next st, 2 single crochets in the next st, 1 single crochet in every of the next 18-20-20 sts and 2 single crochets in the last st, turn;

6th row: 1 single crochet in every of the first 22-24-24 single crochets, 7 double crochets around chain, 1 single crochet in every of the last 22-24-24 single crochets = 51-55-55 sts, turn.

For smaller size, stop here.

7th row: 1 single crochet in every of the first 27 sts, 1 chain st, skip the next st and make 1 single crochet in every of the next 27 sts, turn;

8th row: 1 single crochet in every of the first 27 single crochets, 7 double crochets around chain st, 1 single crochet in every of the last 27 single crochets = 61 sts, turn.

For all sizes: after the last increases, there are 51-55-61 sts in a row. Continue work with “front-back” rows, 1 single crochet in every st until the height is 17-18-19 cm. Make the first 2 single crochets together and the last 2 single crochets in a row together = 49-53-59 single crochets. Cut and fasten the yarn. Make the second slipper in the same way.

Assembly

Start from foot from toe side. Sew sts from each side along the lower edge of slippers. Cut and fasten the yarn.

I think I'm doing something wrong,; there doesn't seem to be a bottom to the slipper and I don't understand how to do the beginning of the pattern before row 1.
