Introduction

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 2 + 1 chain stitch increase.

Set-Up Row

Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. You should have an even number of stitches.

First Row

Ch 2, work through both loops now and throughout. Dc in 1st stitch, *sk 1, dc in next sc, dc in skipped stitch; repeat from * to last st, dc in last st.

Second Row

Ch 1, sc in each dc across.

Repetition

Repeat the 1st and 2nd rows.
