Knit Flower Motif

Work on 3 double-pointed knitting needles. Cast on 6 sts (= 2 sts on each knitting needle). Circle them in the ring, place a marker in the beginning of row.

1st row: * yarn over, 1 knit st*; repeat from * to * (= 12 sts);

2nd and all the even rows: knit;

3rd row: * yarn over, 2 knit sts*; repeat from * to * (= 18 sts);

5th row: * yarn over, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to * (= 24 sts);

Continue work due to the same scheme (= make 8 knit sts between yarn overs in the 15th row);

16th row: * 1 knit st, yarn over, knit2tog to the left, 6 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

17th row: * yarn over, 9 knit sts*; repeat from * to * (= 60 sts);

19th row: * yarn over, 10 knit sts*; repeat from * to * (= 66 sts);

20th row: * 1 knit st, (yarn over, knit2tog) x twice, yarn over, knit2tog to the left, 4 knit sts*; repeat from * to *;

21st row: * yarn over, 11 knit sts*; repeat from * to * (= 72 sts).

Continue work in the same way (= make 15 knit sts between yarn overs in the 29th row);

30th-31st rows: purl.

Bind off the sts with larger diameter needle.
