Dc/rf (Raised Double Crochet at the Front of Fabric) = Wrap the yarn around the hook, insert the hook from in front and from right to left around the post (stem) of the appropriate stitch and complete the stitch normally.
Dc/rb (Raised Double Crochet at the Back of the Fabric) = Wrap the yarn around the hook, insert the hook from behind and from right to left around the post (stem) of the appropriate stitch and complete the stitch normally.
The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 2 plus 2 chain stitches increase.
Row Instructions
1st Row: Dc in the 3rd chain from the hook and in each chain to the end;
2nd Row: Ch 2, *1 dc/rf around the next stitch, 1 dc/rb around the next stitch; repeat from * to the end of the row.
Repeat the 2nd row.
