Special Stitches

Cluster: work 3dc into next stitch until 1 loop of each remains on hook, yarn over and through all 4 loops on hook.

Instructions

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 4 + 6.

First Row (Right Side)

1^st row: 1 cluster into the 5th chain from the hook (dc, ch 1 formed at the beginning of the row), chain 1, skip 2 chains, single crochet into the next chain, *chain 3, 1 cluster into the next chain, chain 1, skip 2 chains, single crochet into the next chain, repeat from * to the last 2 chains, chain 2, double crochet into the last chain, turn;

Second Row

2^nd row: Chain 4 (count as 1 dc, 1 ch), 1 cluster into the first chain 2 space, chain 1, *single crochet into the next chain 3 space, chain 3, 1 cluster into the same space as the last single crochet, chain 1; repeat from * to the last chain space, single crochet into the last chain space, chain 2, double crochet into the 3rd of 4 chains at the beginning of the previous row, turn.

Repeat the 2^nd row.
