Instructions
Back
Cast on 131; 147; 163 sts and make 1 row with purls. Then, create 3 rows of rib for the placket. Transition to the relief pattern using the following description: 1 selvedge st, 8 sts before pattern repeat, repeat the pattern 7; 8; 9 times, 9 sts after pattern repeat, 1 selvedge st.
For chamfers, make decreases after the 16 rows of placket, repeating decreases of 1 st x 7 in every 16th row. You will have 115; 131; 147 sts remaining.
In 154; 150; 146 rows (51.5; 50; 48.5 cm) from the relief pattern, bind off 5 sts x 1, 4 sts x 1 in every 2nd row, 3 sts x 1, 2 sts x 1, 1 st x 1. You will end up with 85; 101; 117 sts left.
In 38; 42; 46 rows (12.5; 14; 15.5 cm) from the bottom part of arm-holes, bind off the central 21; 25; 29 sts for the neck-hole. Leave the right part. Start working with the left part. For smooth rounding, bind off 6 sts x 1 in every even row, 5 sts x 2, 4 sts x 1. You should have 12; 18; 24 sts remaining. In 10 rows (3.5 cm) from the beginning of the neck-hole, bind off the rest of the sts.
Make the right side in reflection to the left.
Front
Utilize the schemes and description for the back, but create a deeper neck-hole. In 24; 28; 32 rows (8; 9.5; 11 cm) from the bottom part, bind off the central 11; 15; 19 sts and finish each part separately. For smooth rounding, bind off 5 sts x 1, 3 sts x 3, 2 sts x 4, 1 st x 3 in every even row. You will have 12; 18; 24 sts remaining. In 10 rows (3.5 cm) from the beginning of the neck-hole, bind off the rest of the sts.
Complete the second part in reflection to the first one.
Assembly
Sew up the seams. Fasten the edges of the neck-hole and arm-holes with “shrimp stitch.”
