​Summer Light Relief Plaid

You'll need:

200g of yarn (50% cotton, 50% linen yarn; 200m/100g);

Knitting needles 4.


Size: 65 x 72 cm.


Stitches control: main pattern with knitting needles 4: 14 sts x 23 rows = 10 x 10 cm.


Instructions

Cast on 91 sts with knitting needles 4. Knit 11 rows with stockinette sitch and then follow the scheme below:

12th row (wrong-side): 8 purls, 3 knit sts, * 3 purls, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 purls;

13th row: 8 knit sts, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, purl2tog, * 3 knit sts, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, purl2tog*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 knit sts;

14th row: 8 purls, 3 knit sts, * 3 purls, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 purls;

15th row: 8 knit sts, purl2tog, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, * 3 knit sts, purl2tog, 1 yarn over, 1 purl*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 knit sts;

16th row: 8 purls, 3 knit sts, * 3 purls, 3 knit sts*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 purls;

17th row: 8 knit sts, 2 purls, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, * 1 double broaching, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 1 yarn over*; repeat from * to * to last 14 sts, 1 double broaching, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 2 purls, 8 knit sts;

18th row: 11 purls, * 3 knit sts, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 purls;

19th row: 11 knit sts, * purl2tog, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 3 knit sts; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 knit sts;

20th row: 11 purls, * 3 knit sts, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 purls;

21st row: 11 knit sts, * 1 purl, 1 yarn over, purl2tog, 3 knit sts* ; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 knit sts;

22nd row: 11 purls, * 3 knit sts, 3 purls*; repeat from * to * 12 times, 8 purls;

23rd row: 9 knit sts, knit2tog, * 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 1 double broaching*; repeat from * to * to last 14 sts, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 1 yarn over, 1 purl, 1 broaching, 9 knit sts.

Repeat 12th-23rd rows 11 times, then repeat 12th-14th rows once.

Finish your work with 10 rows of stockinette stitch. Bind off the sts.

Weave the ends.
