3/3 Cable Instructions

3/3 cable: transfer 3 sts to the auxiliary needle and leave in front of work, knit 3 sts, then, knit the sts from the auxiliary needle as knit sts.

Pattern Overview

The pattern repeat is 16 sts long and 24 rows high.

Selvedge sts aren't included in the scheme and description.

The quantity of sts is multiple of 16 + 2 selvedge sts.

Row Breakdown

1st row: *1 purl, 6 knit sts, 2 purls, (knit2tog, yarn over) 3 times, 1 purl*;

2nd row and all the even rows: follow the ornament.

3rd row: *1 purl, 6 knit sts, 2 purls, (knit2tog, yarn over) twice, 1 knit st, 1 purl*;

5th row: *1 purl, 3/3 cable, 2 purls, (knit2tog, yarn over) 3 times, 1 purl*;

7th row: *1 purl, (knit2tog, yarn over) 3 times, 2 purls, 1 knit st, (knit2tog, yarn over) twice, 1 knit st, 1 purl*;
