Row Instructions

Row 1: In the 2nd stitch from hook, place SC, next stitch DC, alternate SC, DC in each stitch across, Ch 1, TW.

Row 3-5: Repeat Row 2 (alternating between SC and DC stitch in each stitch across the row, starting with an SC and ending with a DC stitch), Ch 1, TW.

Note: There is an optional color change at Row 16 and Row 17.

Optional Color Changes

Row 16: (Optional Color Change) Change yarn, SC, next stitch DC, alternate SC, DC in each stitch across, Ch 1, TW.

Row 17: (Optional Color Change - change back to the original color) SC, next stitch DC, alternate SC, DC in each stitch across. Ch 1, TW.

Row 18: SC across, tie off, finish off work. Weave in ends.
