Gauge
In stitch pattern after blocking, 20 sts for approximately 2 row repeats measures 4″.
Special Stitches
Tunisian Knit Stitch (tks): Notice that each vertical bar goes up into the chain and back down the other side. For Tunisian Knit Stitch, insert hook between these two vertical bars, under the chain, front to back, yarn over, pull loop through.

Row 2:
A: Ch 1, sk first vertical bar, 1 tks, *[yo, tks] 6 times, 6 tks, rep from * 2 times more, [yo, tks] 6 times—68 lps on hook.

Finishing
For cowl only: Form a ring with your fabric by placing your cowl matching first row to last row. Take one side of the fabric for the cowl and turn it upside down. This will form the moebius twist. With yarn needle, seam the cowl together.
