Pattern Instructions
RND 1: Ch5, join in a circle, ch3, 14 dc, join.

RND 2: Ch 5, slst in the 2nd ch from the hook, sc in the next ch, hdc in the next ch, dc in the next ch, sk 2 dc, slst in the next dc. Repeat from * to * 4 more times for 5 star points.
RND 3: Ch 7, (counts as dc, ch4). *Sc in the slst at the 1st star point, ch4, dc in the slst between the next 2 star points, ch4*. Repeat from * to * 3 more times, ch 4, join to the ch3 of the 1st ch7, slst in the next 4 chs.

RND 4: Sc in the 1st dc, 3 sc in the 1st ch4 sp. *Sc in the sc at the 1st star point, 3 sc in the next ch4 sp, sc in the dc, 3 sc in the next ch4 sp*. Repeat from * to * 4 more times, join to 1st sc, ch 3.

RND 5: 2 dc in the same st as the ch3. *Ch3, sk next 4 sc, 3dc, ch2, 3dc in the next sc, ch3, sk 4 sc, 3 dc in the next sc, ch3, sk 4 sc*. Repeat from * to * 3 more times, 3 dc, ch 2, 3dc in the next sc, ch3, sk 4 sc, join to the ch3, ch1.

You may need to block your squares. I find it easier to put them together once they are blocked.
