• Ch1 does not count as a stitch.
• Ch3 counts as a double crochet.
• When changing colors, ch3 after the color change.
• Rounds are joined to the ch3 with a slip stitch.

Pattern

RND 1: With C1, Ch5, join in a circle, ch3, 11(13) dc in the circle, join, ch 3 (12, 14 dc)

RND 2: dc in the same st as the ch3, 2 dc in each dc around, join, ch 1 (24, 28 dc)

RND 3: sc in each of the 24 dc, join to the 1^st sc, ch3 (24, 28 sc)

RND 4: 1 dc in each sc, join, ch 3 (24, 28 sc)

RND 5: 1 dc in each sc, join (24, 28 sc)

RND 6: Chgto C2, ch3, 1 dc in each of the dc around, join, ch 3 (24, 28 dc)
