- R9: dc around, total 36 sts, sl in 1st stitch to join.
- R10: (inc dc, 5 dc across) x 6 times around, total 42 sts, sl in 1st stitch to join.
- R11: (6 dc across, inc dc) x 6 times around, total 48 sts, sl in 1st stitch to join.
- R12: (inc dc, 7 dc across) x 6 times around, total 54 sts, sl in 1st stitch to join.

Straps
Back to the top, work in rows
- R1: from the 1st chain of R1, skip 3 ch, 3 sc across, ch1, turn.
- R2: 3 sc across, ch1, turn.
- R3 to R13: same as R2.
- R14: 3 sc across (fasten off).
From the wrong side, join the strap and back side with sc or sl stitch (fasten off). Repeat at the other side to make the other strap.
Belt
Using color pink yarn, crochet a chain of 18 inches length, thread around R8 of the dress. Tie a bow at the front. Weave in all ends.
