Turn, ch 3, crochet 2 dc into the next st (repeat 3 times), ch 3, sl into the next st to join (you have just finished a petal now). Sl into the next st, ch 3, crochet 2 dc into the next st (repeat 3 times), ch 3, sl into the next st to join (repeat until the end) (fasten off, leave long end for sewing). A finished rose has 12 petals.
Roll the first petal, hold it tight then wrap the next petals around. Make each round a bit looser, and disperse the petals for a better result. Sew the petals together.
