Crochet Fall Leaf

Crocheting fall leaves is a delightful way to bring the cozy vibes of autumn into your home. Whether you're an experienced crocheter or just starting out, creating these charming leaves can be a fun and rewarding project. The warmth of rich reds, golden yellows, and earthy browns all come together in the intricate stitches, adding a touch of seasonal charm to your decor. You can scatter them around the house, string them into a garland, or even attach them to a wreath for a whimsical touch. So, grab your favorite yarn, a comfy spot, and get ready to immerse yourself in the magic of crocheting fall leaves!

Materials:

  • yarn – fall colors, variegated is best and gives your leaf all sorts of fun colors in one skein.
  • crochet hook – size I
  • scissors
  • crochet needle

Instructions:

Pattern: This pattern is for the middle leaf, medium sized. Adjust stitches for the small and large leaves.

1. Chain stitch 10. This will be the center of the leaf.

2. Going back down the chain, follow these stitches for one side of the leaf:

  • sl – slip stitch
  • sc – single crochet
  • dc – double crochet

4. Leave one of the tails 1 inch long, sticking out, as the leaf’s stem.

5. Use your crochet needle to hide your other tail.

Now it’s ready for a cute crafty display! The fun part is they all come out just a little different, just like leaves off a tree!
