Supplies

  • Yarn – 540 yds of worsted weight yarn. I used Red Heart Unforgettable in Heirloom.

  • Hook – H. I used one of my very favorite hooks, a Laurel Hill Wooden hook.

  • Yarn Needle and Scissors.

Stitches

  • St – Stitch

  • Ch – Chain

  • Sk – Skip

  • Dc – Double Crochet

X Stitch: Working over 2 stitches - Sk St, Dc in next St, Dc in previous st to create an X.

Size

11″ x 58″

Instructions

Ch 48

Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook, dc in next 6 chs, sk 2 chs, dc in next 6 chs, 3 dc in next ch, dc in next 6 chs, sk 2 sts, dc in next 6 chs, 3 dc in next st, dc in next 6 chs, sk 2 chs, dc in next 6 sts, 2 dc in last st. = 46 dc.

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc now and throughout), turn, dc in same st, *3 X sts over next 6 sts, sk 2 sts, 3 X sts over next 6 sts, 3 dc in next st*, Repeat *to* 1 more time, 3 X sts over next 6 sts, sk 2 sts, 3 X sts over next 6 sts, 2 dc in last st. = 18 X sts, 4 dc.

Rows 3-80: Repeat row 2.

Finish off leaving a long tail to join the 2 ends.

RND 1: Using a yarn needle and the long tail, carefully sew the 2 ends together to form the infinity.
