The Pattern

Stitches Used

• sc - single crochet

Chain to the size you want (use a multiple of 4 stitches + 3). Add 3 on your base chain to make the foundation. For example – 24 stitches (6×4) + 3 = 27, so chain 30.

Row Instructions

Row 1:

1 sc into the 6th ch from the hook (so you have 5 ch stitches on that loop). Ch 5, skip 3 ch, and 1 sc into the next ch. Repeat to the end, then turn.

Row 2:

Ch 5, 1 sc into the next chain 5 arch. Repeat to the end, then turn.

Rows 3+:

Repeat row 2 until you reach the length you want. You will want to block this to spread out all the holes to see the pattern well.
