Flower Pattern

The quantity of stitches is multiple of 10 + 1. Work according to the scheme. Start every row as stated on the scheme: stitches before pattern repeat, pattern repeat, finish with stitches after pattern repeat. Make 1st-7th rows once, then repeat 2nd-7th rows.

Stripes Order

1 olive row, * 3 dark-turquoise rows, 3 green rows, 3 light-blue rows, 3 lemon-yellow rows *; repeat from * to *.

Stitches Control

21.5 stitches x 8 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Instructions

Back

Make 101 (111) chain stitches + 2 chain stitches increase with olive yarn and work with flower pattern according to the stripes order. In 56 cm = 45 rows (55 cm = 44 rows) from the set-up row, leave 4.5 cm = 10 stitches open from both sides for arm-hole (= 1 pattern repeat). In 75 cm = 60 rows from the set-up row, finish your work. The central 14 cm forms the neck-hole, with outer 12 (14.5) cm for shoulders.

Front

Make in the same way as the back, but with a deeper neck-hole. For this, in 65 cm = 52 rows from the set-up row, leave the central 14 cm open and finish each side separately. Finish your work at the same height as the back on the remaining parts of the shoulder, 12 (14.5) cm wide.

Assembly

Make shoulder seams. Create the 1st row of flower pattern along the lower edge of front and back with olive yarn. Make the side seams.
