Crochet Stitches: Mastering the Hdc Technique

The quantity of stitches is a multiple of 2 plus 1 chain stitch increase.

RND 1: 1st row: skip 2 chains (count as 1 hdc), *slip stitch into the next chain, 1 hdc into the next chain; repeat from * ending with a slip stitch into the last chain, then turn;

RND 2: 2nd row: 2 chains (count as 1 hdc), skip 1 stitch, *slip stitch into the next hdc, 1 hdc into the next slip stitch; repeat from * ending with a slip stitch into the top of the turning chain, then turn.

Repeat the 2nd row.
